Sean LaBounty graduated from the University of Texas in 1997 and embarked on a distinguished career in the creative industry. His journey began as an Art Director at Dimassimo (DIGO) from 1997 to 1998, where he worked on campaigns for Crunch Fitness, Game Shark, and Solgar Vitamins.

He then joined Kirshenbaum & Bond from 1998 to 2002, contributing to major projects for Target, Sony, Hennessy, Moet, and the Olympics. Afterward, Sean pursued freelance opportunities, including starting a fashion label and working with Cliff Freeman, SS+K, Hal Riney, and EVB from 2002 to 2004, with clients like Mohegan Sun, ESPN, Fathead, and Michael Jordan.

From 2004 to 2006, Sean was the Creative Director at Hanft Raboy, leading campaigns for Match.com, Hertz, and Chemistry.com. He then moved to Leo Burnett NY as VP/Creative Director from 2006 to 2007, overseeing global campaigns for Samsung.

Between 2007 and 2011, Sean was the Creative Director at Young & Rubicam NY, working on notable brands such as LG, Land Rover, Dell, and MetLife. He later served as Creative Director at DDB from 2011 to 2012, managing campaigns for NY Lottery, NYC Ballet, and Drugfree.org.

From 2012 to 2014, Sean held the position of Creative Director at GSD&M, where he led projects for Southwest, Seton, Jarritos, Walgreens, and PGA. His tenure at McCann from 2014 to 2015 included work on Cuervo, Bushmills, Microsoft, and Nikon.

Sean’s creative excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including multiple Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show Entertainment, Clios, AICP Next, New York Festivals, and YGA accolades, highlighting his impact in TV, cinema, design, experiential marketing, and more.
